Diesel Mechanics? Are you a recent graduate with an bachelors or
associates in Diesel Mechanics Technology? TCI Transportation is
offering a Service Manager Trainee Program that will provide you
with the skills and experience you need to be a successful Service
Manager for TCI. You will have hands on training over a 3-6 month
program. No experience, no problem! As a Service Manager Trainee
you will have the opportunity to grow and strengthen your
transportation knowledge and work alongside our recruiting, safety,
and maintenance department leaders. Our ideal candidate is
organized, self-motivated, dynamic, process-driven, and a
collaborator. Essential Duties Include: Reporting directly to the
Director of Operations, you will support our business development
effort. Travel to TCI locations 25 to 30% of the time. Flexibility
on work schedules is required. Learn new software in Karmak/Fusion
and TCI technology. Learn all aspects of account management for
TCI. Travel to sites and manage accounts. Manage, track, and
execute all assigned Company Projects and Company Startups assigned
by the Ops Project Manager. Knowledge, Skills, Experience needed:
To be successful in this position you will be a quick learner,
self-driven, disciplined, and thoughtful, natural with follow-up
and follow-through, detail-oriented and being outside the office
50% of the time, traveling to all TCI locations. Most importantly
you will have a genuine interest in Diesel Mechanics using the TCI
method. The ideal candidate for this position must be able to stay
organized, multi-task and effectively manage their time. We are
looking for an individual that is ambitious, eager to learn and
willing to work hard toward their own career development. Required:
Associate's degree in Diesel Mechanics Technology, a Bachelor’s
degree is preferred Familiarity with business software such as
Microsoft Office. A high level of business ethics and
confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing
skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. The
flexibility and willingness to learn. The ability to work as part
of a team. The ability to work accurately, with attention to
detail. Pay: $24-26.50/hourly Schedule: Mon-Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm
