Work 1st shift (6AM - 2:30PM, Monday - Friday)

The Impact You ll Make in this Role
As a Log Conversion Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap
into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most
innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make
an impact by:
- Follow procedures for product assembly/fabrication, equipment
operation, and safety requirements as documented in the company's
training and quality systems.
- Performs set-ups, makes adjustments, and operates production
equipment. Maintains acceptable quality and productivity department
standards. Uses precision measuring equipment.
- Operate machinery to include, but not limited to Metis
Cutter/Truer, Downdraft Deburr Station, Grieve Oven, and Aluma
- Responsible for handling/assembling raw materials, work in
process and finished goods.
- Employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the
position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking
for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
- Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and
verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
- Available for weekend work, working overtime, rotating shifts,
and/or short notice shift coverage.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further
in this role include:
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in manufacturing and/or
warehouse in a private, public, government, or military
- Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing work environment
- Experience handling hazardous waste material
