Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck to deliver goods to regional destinations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance where required. Plan routes efficiently and adhere to predetermined schedules. Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is secured. Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Report defects, accidents or violations and handle paperwork such as bills of lading and inventory counts. Profound knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. No recent moving or driving violations. Ability to handle physical workload, strong time management and organizational skills. Extensive experience driving large vehicles. Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Endorsements for Hazardous Material and Tanker vehicles are preferred but not required. Completion of an accredited CDL training school or program.
