Job Description

A Kingman, Arizona based client is searching for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide excellent nursing care in a Behavioral Health setting. An ideal candidate is a team player, detail-oriented, able to de-escalate patients, monitor and intervene on patient safety concerns, and carry out organizational protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Current Arizona LPN license
• Current CPR certification
• Able to perform Accu-Cheks
• Have no convictions for felonies or misdemeanors involving substance abuse, sexual misbehavior or assault

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in psychiatric health nursing

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and treatments for patients with substance abuse, severe mental illness, and/or intellectual disability
• Able to gather information on the needs, duration of care, and habilitation of patients who are severely mentally ill and/or intellectually disabled
• Work collaboratively with RN supervisor on patient care and safety duties
• Excel in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands at a time
