Growing together. /n We seek a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. /n Schedule: Need to be able to work between the hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm PST for an 8 hour shift Monday-Friday to cover PTO and call outs /n Location: 6039 Eldora Ave, Suite E, Las Vegas, NV 89146 (home site), but will need to travel to the 3 other sites in Las Vegas, NV to help cover with call outs and PTO /n Primary Responsibilities: /n /n - Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff /n - Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist /n - Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies /n - Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders /n - Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records /n - Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements /n - Performs various clerical duties relating to the department /n - Communicates with solid professional verbal and written communication skills /n - Other duties as assigned /n /n You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: /n /n - Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Nevada /n - Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license /n - Ability to use your own car to get to other sites when needed for coverage /n /n Preferred Qualifications: /n /n - National Pharmacy Technician Certification /n - Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience /n /n /n The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
